Upright meaning
The Fool is the moment before the decision — standing at the edge with everything you own in one small bag. It reads as a genuine beginning: unplanned, unproven, and open. The card does not promise the leap works out. It says the leap is available and that refusing it out of fear costs more than trying.
The Fool reversed
Reversed, the same energy curdles into one of two extremes. Either you are frozen at the edge, calling caution what is actually fear, or you have already jumped without looking and are discovering why people look first. Read the surrounding cards to tell which.
